Counselling and Psychotherapy for Couples and Individuals in Central London
Problems with a particular relationship (with a partner but also a parent, a child, a friend, a colleague...) is often what brings people to relationship counselling and psychotherapy. I am a qualified and registered relationship counsellor and psychotherapist. I offer a non judgmental space where we can think together about the interaction and the conflicts of this relationship, seek to understand the recurrent patterns of difficulties you are facing and resolve the underlying issues. This may involve exploring the past to the extent that it influences the present
Some of the issues couples and individuals bring to relationship counselling and psychotherapy are:
- Communication issues, conflict and anger
- Sexual difficulties and lack of intimacy
- Depression and/or anxiety
- Divorce and separation
- Fertility issues
- Parenting issues
- Dealing with family conflicts: blended families, in-laws
- Infidelity and trust issues
- Bereavement and loss
- Work stress and redundancy
- Retirement, ageing
Couples counselling and psychotherapy is a safe space where partners can talk and listen to each other openly. The aim of couple therapy is to foster awareness and understanding of the problems affecting the relationship. It provides the opportunity to think about the dynamic of the relationship and get better attuned to your emotions and those of your partner.
I work with individuals who are in a relationship and would like to understand the difficulties they are facing. I also work with individuals who have ended a relationship and want to make sense of what happened and why the relationship ended.
My consulting rooms are conveniently located in Central London (Oxford Circus area) and West London (Kensington).
They are both quiet and comfortable rooms within easy reach of public transports (see more in Contact)
